I kept seeing this type of chip being advertised for Pentax *ist DSLRs
The problem was that the handbook said NO - only SD cards
I bought this as the cheapest trial I could find. Sure enough it didn't work!!

However, a further look at the Pentax site showed that if I upgraded the camera 'firmware' from version 1.00 on both camera...
