Welcome to The Digital Photography Tips section.

The following digital photography tips are free! Yes, unlike others who try (and do) sell their tips you will find most of them in this new but expanding section of this website. The biggest problem I find when using my compact digital camera is getting a good light balance when taking photos indoors or at night. The majority of digital cameras have setting for "Scenes" but when using them I sometimes find the results very disappointing.

As well as suggesting the settings best suited for certain scenarios, I will give you tips for better composition of your photographs.

Please note, this is a new section of this site and more tips will be added regularly.
